When I needed a flute solo on a song I was recording, I realized that I know several flute players, but Jan was my first choice and I was so happy when she agreed to do it. I highly recommend hiring Jan the next time you need a flautist, in any genre! I have seen her perform many times over the years, so I knew she was professional, proficient at her instrument, and easy to work with, and she did not disappoint on my project. She didn’t blink an eye about coming into the studio on fairly short notice (and quite a distance away!) She figured out the somewhat confusing musical score I gave her. She interpreted what I was looking for and made slight tweaks and improvements on the spot that produced a wonderful melodic lead.
